I have a variety of screw on caps, caps fit on the end to balance the pen, some pop off caps that pop on the end for balance and the classic pens that the cap is loose and does not fit on the end. All of top quality German iridium nibs, medium point and all use the Schaeffer style cartridges. Spalting is a dark vein caused by a pattern of bacterial rot in dead wood that once stabalized often looks like a black ink line of varying thickness and great irregularity drawn through the wood. | PRICKLY PEAR CACTUS SKELETON, RED Olympian Fountain Pen, Rhodium Trim Medium German Iridium nib, Schaeffer type cartridge. Smooth end, cap will friction post. Prickly Cactus (Opuntia fragilis) skeleton is processed by allowing the outer covering to deteriorate, then peeled away and the remaining skeletal mesh is bleached and dried before it is cast in clear acrylic.
