used in turnery, for knife handles, pens & pencils, bird calls, walking canes and all forms
of fancy woodwork.

This South East Asian wood, also known as Vietnamese ebony, is very strong, hard,
and dense with irregular grain and fine texture. The color is dark green to black
striping on a tan background. It is an excellent turning wood and finishes to a high
natural polish due to the density. Mun Ebony comes from Laos and is quite rare. It is
harvested as fallen trees on the forest floor.

This is a pen is very similar to the El Grande roller ball listed above and is a
premier style of writing pen, both elegant and stylish.
Uses a Hauser Mont Blanc style rollerball refill.

Mallee, a "scrubland vegatation" that is common in many parts of Australia and seems
have dozens of varieties. Among other things, it produces a useful oil. often
described as part of the ecalyptus family of trees and most often available to pen
turners only as a burl. Most wood sources refer to Mallee as "red", "brown", "white"
and a few others. I did not find a specific listing, the blank was shipped from Australia
labeled as "Yellow Mallee"
